“Lauren is wonderful! She did Location Management and Scouting on two feature films I produced (Swallow and I Carry You With Me). She is very hardworking and responsible, and pleasant to be around to boot. I recommend Lauren to colleagues all the time and I look forward to the next time I get to work with her."

“I worked with Lauren on Barry Jenkins If Beale Street Could Talk. It was a low budget period New York Film, but one feeling pressure since the directors last film, Moonlight, had just won Best Picture. The biggest and most changing Art Dept challenge was to design a period Bleeker Street, set in 1972. Lauren, working in the Locations Dept, took us up to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, which turned out to be the last old world neighborhood of its kind. It’s also a very closed insular world to break into and the understaffed Art Dept needed a lot of help. Lauren ran that location and helped us make the world of our story. It turned out to be one of my favorite sets ever and provided the film with a great deal of scope. Lauren had a lot to handle in this area between the old school Albanians and Italians as well as the City itself with regulations and limitations. In the end working with Lauren was a great collaboration. She's a diligent, team player who both guided and assisted us in a way that was utterly appreciated.”

“Well, you saved our asses once again, Lauren. I know we set you up to achieve the impossible - but you did it! Bigger budget and more time on the next one - I promise. I don’t imagine there’s anything you can’t do. So I look forward to being able to support that in any way I can. I’m so glad you live here now! Thank you for making Cora happen. Love, Hannah”
